Fr Declan Mansfield was born in Cork. He studied at Maynooth College, and was ordained in The Church of Christ The King Turners Cross in June 1978.  Having taught in Farranferris College, he then served in several parishes including Bantry, Douglas, Dennehys Cross, and the North Cathedral before becoming Parish Priest of Ballinora in 2012.
