BALLINORA MINI CAMINO

The Camino de Santiago, or the Way of Saint James, is an epic Catholic pilgrimage to the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela to finish at the tomb of St James.
Here at St. James Parish in Ballinora we are organizing our own mini Camino Walk in honor of the Bicentenary of the Church.
This will take place over two days (24/25 July - the weekend of Feast of St James)and include 5 stops along the way. Everyone will be provided with their own passport to get stamped at 5 historic stops along the way - Inniskenny, Corbally Famine Graveyards, Kilmacadane Abbey, the Grotto and the Church. It can be done at your own pace in your own time over the weekend!
We will finish off the event in the Ballinora GAA pitch with a picnic around 6pm, where everyone will bring their own picnic supplies (due to COVID restrictions)
Come and celebrate parish, history and faith. Maybe do the walk as a prayer for a special intention.
